K'Gari is a special and unique place.  The walk involves six days of hiking approximately 13km a day so, whilst challenging, there will be time to enjoy the wonderful location.  Most camps are on one of the unique lakes and hiking allows you to camp in places that people visiting in 4WDs are not allowed to stay, meaning you can enjoy without the crowds.

Being a six day pack walk, ideally you will have done overnight hikes before, know your abilities and limitations and have lightweight hiking gear.  Speak to Chris if you are unsure about any of this.

There is the possibility of a food drop half way for a small cost which allows for lighter packs.

We will drive up to Inskip on the Good Friday and drive back on the 24th.  Easter and Anzac day are closely aligned this year so if, like me, you have a job, you can get 10 days off with only three days of leave.
