Views, rainforests, a cave and picnics. We will walk up the track to Bushrangers Cave then scramble off-track up to Mt Wagawn for morning tea with views over the Tweed. Then on-track through lush rainforest to lookouts in Lamington National park where you can see all the way to the ocean on a clear day. There is lots of steep uphill there and downhill back. This will be an all day event with about 6 hours of walking plus time for picnics. Bring at least 2L of water, a waterproof jacket and food for the day (morning tea, lunch) . You will need good shoes with good grip as there are some steep rocky sections. Grade 4. Leader Lucy Baker. Enquiries lucy.baker@path2u.com.au
