Gidjuum Gilganyi 3 Day Hike, Jun 6-8

Byron Hikers is offering a different and FREE version of our new 3 to 4 day Hinterland hike where we camp in alternative sites that make it an easier hike than the National Parks version that costs $173! We will be meeting in Mullumbimby on Saturday morning of this Long Weekend. We start hiking on the Whiskey Creek Trail in MainArm. We go past Hell Hole Falls, past the official Camp 1 and climb halfway up Mt Jerusalem where we have a great camp site which is on the headwater of the Wilsons River. Day 2: We climb over Mt Jerusalem which has 3 lookouts, each with a different view towards Mt Warning and into the Tweed Valley. Our second camp has another amazing view out over the Tweed. Day 3: We ascend past the TeaTree Lookout, past the famous Postman's Tree and exiting down North Rocks Rd.
