You love nature writing either reading or writing it and you like the idea of a short forest bathing walk to get into the mood. Perhaps you’ve been inspired after the recent Byron Writers Festival. This is a walk to write and read about nature. We’ll start with a short walk to connect with our natural surroundings. Then I’ll offer a few writing prompts to engage your nature muse and we’ll sit amongst the trees to write or draw with whatever comes to mind. We’ll finish in a circle with reading time. You can either read what you have written, or read another piece of nature writing that you love from another author. You may prefer to simply listen and not read at all; nothing is compulsory. Our walk will start at the South Golden Beach Hall where there is shelter and toilets. We will walk behind the sand dunes where it is heavily treed and be finished by lunchtime.
