Mt Jerusalem Circuit Sat May 24

A small group of us have spent a number of mid-week days opening up some old overgrown logging trails and a new path through Dave's ( pictured) to create a new day walk (anti clockwise), from Upper Wilsons to the Rockslide, then along the ascending old logging trail to Rockface Rd. We will then use the new path across Mt Jerusalem which takes a brilliant new line just under the ridge line as it winds around the tops of several rainforest gullies. Halfway down the Mountain we turn east onto Wild Dog Rd which becomes a razorback ridge heading for Blackbutt Plateau. In the saddle of this ridge we complete the circle safely through a small cliffline into Dave's and walk the last kilometre on a clear trail back to the cars. We are not sure how long this will take; we may even finish after dark.  So the first attempt will be for a small party of hardened members only.
